Job description

Job Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited post-secondary educational institution.
  • 5+ years experience in relevant civil engineering positions.
  • Experience with district energy pipe design.
  • Experience delivering feasibility studies and detailed designs.
  • Experience with specification writing and reviews.
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a P.Eng. with EGBC.
  • Demonstrate strong ability to work independently and as part of or leading a team.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a complex environment, dealing with multiple projects and clients.
  • Possess strong communications skills (verbal and written) in a team environment.
  • Committed team player and self-motivated.
  • The capability and enthusiasm to bring in clients and projects.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D. and hydraulic modelling tools are an asset.
  • Ability to prepare thermal stress analysis for hot water pipping systems and registering piping systems with TSBC are an asset.

  • The salary range for this position is $85,280.00 to $135,200.00 and is commensurate with experience relative to this position.
