Salary

The starting annual salary for this full‑time School Teacher position ranges from $61,838 to $108,458, with placement on the July 1, 2024 Teacher Salary Grid based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Job Summary & Responsibilities

Education & Experience

• Major / minor or diploma in Inclusive Education (aka Special Education)
• Practicum and / or work experience in Inclusive Education at the level specified in the posting
• Case management experience required
• Training and experience with Level B Assessments (i.e. KBIT2 / KTEA III)
• Successfully complete and maintain non‑violent crisis intervention certification
• Successful recent teaching evaluation or practicum report
• Eligible for BC Teacher Certification
