Job Opportunity:

This position offers backup to the Customer Service Representatives during peak vacation time.

The CSR receives and processes routine customer orders, handles inquiries, and/or complaints covering items or products ordered. Maintains an ongoing relationship with selected customers/portfolio of accounts and sales staff. The CSR utilizes knowledge of products and product availability to provide a communications link to the customer. Apply some advanced skills to the position within functional area. Duties and tasks are frequently non-routine. Resolves most questions and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels. The incumbent works under general supervision.

Candidates must be enrolled in a post-secondary education program in order to be considered for this position.

What you will be doing:
· Records and processes orders and/or inquiries received by mail, telephone, and/or through customer personal contact

· Provides schedule information within established guidelines

· Tracks orders and alerts appropriate staff of any potential delivery problems

· Attains pricing for any services and materials required for the manufacturing of customer’s item that must be manufactured at a different facility

What you need to succeed:

· Excellent communication, ownership, interpersonal and time management skills.

· Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships; and a team player

· Ability to allocate one's time effectively, ability to prioritize workload; ability to work at a detailed level

· Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems; ability to take decisive action

· Intermediate to advance skills in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs

· Be able to work from May to the end of August
