Level 1 - Maintenance Labourer

Job Title: Level 1- Maintenance Labourer Job Summary The Level 1 – Maintenance Labourer is responsible for performing various manual and routine tasks to support the maintenance department. Responsibility

• Perform daily tasks, including recording coolant refractometer readings, topping up machine oils, and tracking usage.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating machinery, changing filters, and checking fluids levels.
• Manage inventories of oil and coolant.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in fluid storage area.
• Operate forklift and floor scrubber as needed.
• Ensure equipment is maintained in a safe and clean manner.
• Close work order using the maintenance systems.
• Perform general plant maintenance as required.

Academic/Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Required Skills/Experience
• Some mechanical work experience required
