They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead their Canadian human resources efforts and support their ambitious goals.
Your new role
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support their business objectives in Canada, notably in Montreal and Toronto.
This role involves overseeing all aspects of human resource practices and processes, ensuring they are aligned with thepany’s vision.
The HR Manager will lead a team of four direct reports and will play a critical role in fostering a positive work environment, promotingpany values, and driving HR excellence.
The key responsibilities will include but aren't limited to :
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain and staying up to date withpensation & benefits programs.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Ensure legalpliance throughout human resource management.
What you'll need to succeed
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources,munications or related field
- Benefits administration andpensation management experience and / or payroll experience is preferred
- A minimum of three plus years of relevant experience in a managerial role, with an emphasis on coordinating projects and employment relations in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Quebec and Ontario legislation is a must.
- Strong knowledge of 1% Training Law (Quebec), health and safety procedures (CNESST), and Quebec francization program are a major asset.
- Bilingual, fluent in both English and French (written and verbal) is a must.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple high-volume priorities
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality and professionalism
- Experience in data analytics is a must.
