Your Role Will Be Responsible For :

Manage and oversee the procurement of raw materials, contracts, and essential goods and services

Establish and enforce the Purchasing department's budget

Evaluate, update, and implement purchasing policies to optimize processes

Maintain accurate inventory records to proactively identify when new stock is needed and avoid shortages

Lead hard negotiations on behalf of the organization for all purchases within the Purchasing department while maintaining strong, long-term relationships with vendors

Source flavor ingredients from both international and local suppliers, evaluating based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance with international trade regulations

Provide backup support to the Replenishment and Planning team, ensuring seamless operations and continuity

What You Need to Bring to Embassy :

3-5 years of progressive experience in mid to senior-level purchasing role(s) in a bakery environment

A university or college degree in business administration, commerce, economics, or a relevant field

Designation in Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) is an asset.

Demonstrate enthusiasm in a forward-thinking, high-tech environment driven by the integration with artificial intelligence and ERP systems

Expert in effectively managing and overseeing departmental budgets

Proven leader with outstanding communication and hard negotiation skills

Excels in dynamic, collaborative environments, fostering positivity and teamwork to achieve shared goals and drive success.

Provide comprehensive expertise and deep insights into the market

Exceptional analytical and reporting expertise

Thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced setting with a strong "get it done now" and positive attitude

Exceptional at staying organized and detail-focused with the ability to master time management to drive efficiency and deliver results
