Position Title : Early Childhood Educator

Location : Crescent Beach YMCA Preschool (2756 127 St, Surrey, BC V4A 6L5)

Term : Temporary, Part-Time

Hours : 21 hours per week

Shift : Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - 8 : 00AM to 4 : 00PM

Start Date : As soon as possible

End Date : June 26, 2026

Salary : $31.56 per hour for Basic ECE License (Includes $6 per hour as per the Provincial Government Wage Enhancement Initiative).

Reports To : Team Lead

Nature & Scope

Early childhood educators (ECE, ECE-IT / SN) and assistants at the YMCA ensure a safe and engaging environment for all children. By adhering to the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum, they design, and lead activities tailored to the interests and developmental stages of the children in their care. These educators also cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents, fellow educators, and community partners to deliver high-quality childcare within the communities we serve.
