Senior Loads and Aeroelastics Engineer Location :
Lindsay, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid) Employment Type : Full-time Salary
Range : CAD 165,000 – 210,000 gross / year About the Role A
senior-level Loads and Aeroelastics Engineer is sought to lead the
analysis and validation of structural loads and aeroelastic
behaviour for advanced hybrid eVTOL aircraft. This role is critical
to ensuring structural integrity, flight safety, and certification
compliance across the full operational envelope. You will analyze
aerodynamic and inertial forces under a wide range of flight and
ground conditions, directly supporting aircraft design, control
integration, and regulatory approval. Working in a highly
collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you will influence
both technical decisions and engineering processes. Key
Responsibilities Perform static and dynamic loads analysis across
all flight phases, including takeoff, landing, transition, hover,
and ground operations Develop, validate, and maintain aeroelastic
models to assess flutter, divergence, and control surface
effectiveness Generate loads spectra and load envelopes to support
structural sizing, fatigue, and durability analysis Collaborate
closely with aerodynamics, flight controls, and structural
engineering teams to ensure accurate loads definition and feedback
integration Support control law design and tuning with aeroelastic
stability considerations Conduct sensitivity studies, load
alleviation analyses, and correlation with flight test and
simulation data Act as a technical integrator between engineering
disciplines and project management Apply and enforce applicable
standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements Drive rigor,
resilience, and continuous improvement in engineering design and
analysis methods Stay current with advances in loads,
aeroelasticity, and aerospace engineering practices Contribute to
continuous process improvements that enhance safety, efficiency,
and delivery performance Requirements 7+ years of experience in
loads, aeroelasticity, or related engineering roles within
aerospace or automotive environments Proven experience across
multiple phases of the product lifecycle (concept, development,
testing, certification) Strong background in structural loads
analysis and aeroelastic modelling techniques Hands-on experience
with systems engineering principles is an advantage Familiarity
with eVTOL certification frameworks (TCCA, FAA, EASA) is highly
desirable Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional
collaboration skills Ability to work effectively in complex,
fast-moving, multidisciplinary engineering teams Whats Offered
Competitive senior-level compensation package No fixed holiday cap
Competitive group benefits plan Company stock purchase program
Hybrid work options Opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge
aerospace and eVTOL programs
