In Service Support - MRB / MAP (Design Engineer)

Job Description
As a member of a specialized group within the engineering team, you will support a commercial aircraft program as a Design Engineer specialist in in‑service support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the structural damage to the aircraft.
- Respond to aircraft grounded (AOG) situations and customer engineering requests.
- Investigate the cause of in‑service problems, resolve source of failures and find effective and innovative solutions.
- Propose repair solutions that align with sector regulations and customer requirements.
- Work in close collaboration with the design authorities (DA & DAD) and subject matter experts (SME) in stress, aero, materials & processes.
- Prepare design reports in English for certification purposes.
- Design generic structural repairs for metallic and composite structures.
- Participate in the design and support of structural modifications.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.Minimum five (5) years of proven experience in repairs for the aerospace industry (in‑service, MAP / MRB).Good knowledge of CATIA V5, Enovia and PLM configuration.Excellent knowledge of aircraft structure.Comfortable with questioning aircraft structure repairs.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high sense of dedication, and ability to act independently in a fast‑paced partner / supplier team environment.Knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English; French is an asset.Detailed knowledge of airline operations, engineering and maintenance is an asset.Benefits
