Hiring Requirements :

The Distribution Coordinator will be a team member in the daily operation of the Distribution Center in St. Catharines, ON for Bimbo Canada, a part of Grupo Bimbo, the largest baking company in the world. They will be responsible for ensuring the proper execution of all shipments. They will act as warehouse customer service & will coordinate between other areas of the business (Plant, Sales, Transportation, etc.) and the warehouse operation. The associate must meet Bimbo Canada standards in quality, GMP’s, safety, security and productivity.

Key Responsibilities :

• Shift : 6 PM to 2AM; Days off :  Saturday and Tuesday.
• Dock Scheduling.
• Stage product for IO (Independent Operators).
• Process inbound / outbound shipments.
• Assign drivers to dock doors and communicate with warehouse staff on load & pick priority.
• Corresponds and communicates with customers / carriers over the phone and email.
• Follow shipping requirements for customer specific loads.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure that all assigned tasks processes standards are met.
• Complete site specific KPIs.
• Ensure the on-time delivery of carriers.
• Interface with broader Supply Chain Team.
• Coordinate with the bakeries on all shipping stock issues.
• Responsible for master sanitation schedule of the warehouse.
• Completing audit complaint tasks on a regular basis.
• Perform other duties and tasks as directed.

Experience & Education :

preferred but not required.

The annual salary range for applicants is : $45,000 - $65,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and / or skill level, among other factors.
