Position Summary
BCIT’s School of Business + Media : Digital Arts, Media and Design department is seeking highly talented, motivated and qualified professionals to become temporary, part-time Instructors for the New Media Design and Web Development diploma.
These temporary, part-time positions will range from 0.2 FTE to 0.8 FTE hours based on department needs. Duties & Responsibilities BCIT’s Digital Arts, Media and Design offers a range of programs in the areas of Animation and Gaming, Web and Mobile, and Communication and Graphics.
The successful applicants will be enthusiastic, team-oriented professionals with broad, practical knowledge within the Web and Mobile industry. We are seeking individuals who are committed to quality and innovation in meeting our students’ needs and who value the importance of teamwork in the workplace. The successful applicants may expect to be assigned courses across a range of areas related to our Web and Mobile programs, and must have a strong commitment to teaching and interacting with students, an ability to communicate clearly and effectively, and an interest in developing and delivering quality curriculum, for an industry that’s fast changing.
Applicants with teaching experience and industry expertise in the following range of instructional areas will be given preference (please check the BCIT website for course specific information for the New Media Design and Web Development diploma) :
