Overview

Our Canada-based Learning and Development client is looking for a Jr E-Learning Developer to join a project starting in January 2026.

Role : E-Learning Developer

Logistics

Canada-based; fully remote; team works on EST hours
Estimated start date : early January 2026
Duration : approx 3 months with possible extension
Hours : role starts part-time and ramps up to full-time (37.5 hours per week) after the first month
Equipment : candidates must provide their own laptop and Articulate 360 license

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain e-learning courses that are SCORM / xAPI compliant and meet client needs

Work with the instructional design team to develop e-learning courses using Articulate Rise on a global project (20 languages)

Follow naming conventions and folder structures; maintain strong organizational skills

Meet deadlines while preserving quality and attention to detail

Create engaging and interactive course content compatible with multiple learning management systems

Have a good eye for graphic design and follow brand guidelines

Set up courseware with meaningful reporting for multiple learning management systems

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during course development or delivery

Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure courses function properly and meet client expectations

Stay up-to-date with the latest e-learning trends, technologies, and techniques

Assist with project planning and timelines to ensure deadlines are met

Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and stakeholders; provide updates on project progress and address concerns

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, computer science, or related field

1–2 years of experience developing e-learning courses using Articulate Rise

Strong understanding of SCORM / xAPI and other e-learning standards

Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and learning content management systems (LCMS) is a plus

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail; ability to work independently and as part of a team

Link to an eLearning portfolio and sample course work is highly beneficial; we are specifically seeking a Rise developer
