Job description

The incumbent will contribute to optimizing the processes of Personal Banking Services (PBS) spanning the entire sales cycle, from opening to closing products, as well as related activities.

They will need to understand the functioning of the various sales force teams and operational processes in order to successfully :

  • Map and document current and future processes
  • Identify and implement areas for improvement

The incumbent will also be responsible for the full execution of assigned projects and initiatives that directly affect business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the request of processes and optimization, as well as its daily management.
  • Manage the execution of assigned projects and initiatives related to process optimization and the improvement of the Client Experience.
  • Conduct preliminary analyses of assigned projects and initiatives in order to define the impacts and volume and contribute to the completion of the necessary documentation (effort analyses, impacts and business needs).
  • Manage documentation (maps, procedures, forms and publications) for assigned initiatives, the requests and communications mailbox and the day-to-day work that keeps the team and the requirements running smoothly.
  • Help facilitate workshops and various interdepartmental working groups as a leading authority and ensure coordination with the various stakeholders in order to monitor the progress of projects and initiatives until they are completed.
  • Handle communications (operational news, DFS news, etc.) to the business lines for all the processes, documentation and projects managed and participate in the design and execution of change management plans in order to increase project buy-in by the various stakeholders.
  • Help standardize practices and documentation across the various sales and service channels.
  • Provide advice to the stakeholders involved and exert influence.
  • Perform any other related tasks as requested by the manager.
  • Qualifications

  • Experience in the network, telebanking centre, commercial banking or other department within Laurentian Bank, a plus.
  • University education in business processes, project management or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the financial sector
  • Bilingual
  • French and English)
  • Specific skills :

  • Analytical skills and business acumen to suggest proactive solutions to complex problems
  • Experience in workshop facilitation and change management is an asset
  • Strong ability to build business relationships and work in a team environment
  • French language writing skills
  • Independent and proactive, with the leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholders to challenge the status quo and implement improvements and new solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a changing environment
  • Flexibility regarding work reorganization and adaptability to emerging risks
  • Proficiency in the following software : Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, DocuSign, Planner and Teams
  • Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages.
