Driving Strategy through Pricing Precision As a Price and Cost Analyst, you will analyze competitor pricing matched with market expectations to determine the ideal target price for products to deliver preferred target margins for our Dealers.
Led by the Supervisor, Price and Cost, this opportunity will suit someone with strong attention to detail and a high level of experience in database queries, reports, and analysis.

- Perform competitor analysis on similar products and evaluate target pricing structure.
- Scope out opportunities based on market trends and industry conditions.
- Identify ideal pricing structures for promotional values.
- Draft strategic pricing plans and processes to improve existing projects.
- Create reports reflecting metrics and project status, objectives, and barriers.
- Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments of the company.
- Work with the merchant and marketing teams to define pricing structure for company products.
- Address issues and concerns raised by team members relating to pricing suggestions.
- Perform competitor analysis on similar products.
We’re looking for :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Statistics or Economics.
- Experience with complex database queries, reports, and analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to both business and technical staff.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable while operating independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Word), Oracle, Discoverer and Power BI (Business Intelligence).
- Ability to prioritize and react to changing situations; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Retail experience with hardware and / or building materials.
- The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
