Title : Linux Patch Management Engineer (Red Hat, Ansible)

Location : Toronto

Duration : 6 Months

Introduction

Join our dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and securing our Linux-based infrastructure. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems are robust and secure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

6-8 years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency in Digital : Ansible, RedHat Linux
Strong understanding of Linux OS patching and security updates
Experience with vulnerability management and remediation

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with patch management tools such as Satellite or Spacewalk

Proficiency in shell scripting or creating Ansible playbooks

Experience in incident response for security-related issues

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Maintain and secure Linux-based infrastructure by applying vulnerability fixes, patches, and updates

Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure compliance with security standards

Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to organizational standards

Automate patching processes to ensure minimal downtime

Maintain documentation for patch cycles, exceptions, and compliance reports
