Summary

The Position is responsible for supervising all activity in the Pulp Shed area of the production facility. The Pulp Shed Lead is responsible for the overall safety and operation in the area including compliance to all CBAs, procedures and policies.

Schedule : 12 Hour Shifts (rotating 3 days on 3 days off, back 3 nights on and 3 nights off)

Requirements

  • Previous Counterbalance experience with valid forklift license from an accredited school. Must be comfortable utilizing multiple attachments (clamp, fork).
  • Loading / Unloading raw materials.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer knowledge.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to associates on the proper execution of standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
  • Promotes a positive, inclusive work environment through effectively communicating and interpreting company policies for associates; coaching and counseling, responding to general inquiries, analyzing and resolving work problems in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies as well as communicating and escalating when required.
  • Ensure compliance of all SOP’s and report any violations to Toronto Tissue Supervisor and Protrans leadership.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous Warehouse Experience is Required.
  • Leadership experience is required.
  • Forklift License with a minimum of 1 year experience (multi-attachments).
  • Team player.
  • Background check will be required.
  • Ability to lift 40lbs.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • English (verbal and written).
  • Computer skills (MS Office).
