Responsibilities

  • Build pumps and mixers using mechanical and electrical abilities
  • Complete fit-up, welding, grinding, deburring, and polishing operations
  • Interpret assembly drawings, work order instructions, procedure manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
  • Complete standardized written documentation and forms.
  • Use appropriate inspection gauges.
  • Report deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisor.
  • Maintain and complete inspection reports
  • Qualifications

  • Must be able to work afternoons
  • Knowledge of impellers, shafts, gearboxes, and bushings installation and fine adjustments a must
  • Experience using hand / powered tools, wires, fixtures, parts, sub-assemblies
  • Experience using an overhead crane and pallet jack
  • Ability to read complex blueprints
  • Technical School Diploma, Trade Certificate or Equivalent Certificate of Qualifications
  • CWB Welding certificate is an asset
  • TSSA Certified Carbon and Stainless is an asset
