THE ROLE
As an Overhead Crane Technician, you will be working at various manufacturing plants throughout the GTA, repairing overhead cranes. This is a great permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys traveling to various sites while working for a reputable well-established company that treats you like a family member. You will be given a work truck to travel to different plants to perform repair services and preventative maintenance on the cranes. The position is based out of Oakville, but 90% of your time is working offsite. We are looking for someone with 5 years' experience as an overhead crane technician.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctionsDisplay a professional image and work within a team environment to accomplish goalsInspect hoists, cranes, systems, chain falls, and pullersOrder parts and maintain inventoryKeep maintenance reports and documentationPerform crane inspections, repairs, and installations and respond to breakdown callsAdjust equipment and repair or replace defective partsREQUIREMENTS :
5 years experience as an overhead crane technician OR certified ElectricianSecondary school diploma or high school equivalent as a minimum3 Years of Hands-On Electrical Experience- the ideal candidate will have a 309A licenseExperience working in a manufacturing environmentWelding experience is considered an assetMechanical aptitudeExcellent people and communication skills, both verbal and writtenLifting up to 50lbsKnowledge and understanding of structural, electrical, and mechanical systemsAble to work in elevated areasMust have reliable own transportation, G License in good standingINDSTRIVEON
