Responsibilities :
Proactively support professionals in managing and tracking their cases.Coordinate schedules and ensure follow-ups for all appointments, meetings, hearings, events, and committees attended by the assigned professionals.Participate in the development of the template bank.Ensure deadlines are met, and track client files and deliverables.Professionally and courteously handle reminders and follow-ups with current and potential clients.Prepare the required documentation for various scheduled events.Proofread and correct documents.Handle file openings and billing.Prepare expense allocations.Perform various other administrative tasks as needed.What you will need to succeed :
Diploma in secretarial studies, legal secretarial studies, or equivalent training.Minimum of three (3) years of experience in legal secretarial work, litigation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word (intermediate / advanced), Outlook, and Excel.Knowledge of Maître and iManage Work 10 software (an asset).Bilingualism in spoken and written English and French is required to support lawyers with an anglophone client base.Client-oriented, courteous, and professional demeanor.Sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and prioritize effectively.Team spirit and initiative.
