Their expertise spans excavation, deep foundations, shoring, demolition, and industrial site prep; often self-performing on high-risk, technically demanding scopes.

About the Position

This opportunity is available to candidates based in Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, Coquitlam, Abbotsford, Delta, Richmond, and Langley / (Lower Mainland).

• Oversee department standards for deliverables such as bid packages, deliverable formats, and budget tracking tools
• Prepare timely and accurate bid estimates through quantity take-offs using estimating software, spreadsheet software, hand calculations, etc.
• Assist with determining which jobs to put through the bid process and which jobs to pass up due to current circumstances
• Assign responsibilities to the estimating team on each project
• Review project plans and specifications and coordinate with the team to confirm complete scope
• Identify risk issues and their order of magnitude
• Prepare instructions to bidders, bid form, and other bid solicitation information
• Ensure the flow of project information is maintained and documented
