Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily dispatch operations to guarantee timely freight deliveries.
- Develop and implement effective route planning strategies to optimize delivery times and reduce transportation costs.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and vendors to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly.
- Analyze dispatch data to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Utilize phone systems to maintain clear communication among all stakeholders.
- Train and supervise dispatch staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in dispatch or logistics management is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and freight management.
- Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Proficient in data analysis to inform decision-making.
