Director, Risk - Chief Anti-Money Laundering Officer

We are looking for an experienced and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Risk and Chief Anti-Money Laundering Officer. In this critical role, you will oversee financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of risk management within the financial sector and a proven ability to lead teams effectively.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and maintain effective detection and prevention systems.
• Lead the preparation and review of financial reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the use of accounting software and ERP systems to streamline reporting and operational processes.
• Conduct detailed reviews of financial statements and reporting mechanisms to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address ad hoc financial reporting needs and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor and evaluate organizational performance against risk management benchmarks and compliance standards.
• Provide expert guidance and training to staff on anti-money laundering protocols and financial reporting practices.
• Develop policies and procedures to enhance organizational resilience against financial crime risks.
• Maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure alignment with industry standards.
• Extensive experience in risk management and anti-money laundering practices within the financial sector.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms to manage financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and deliver actionable insights.
• Expertise in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced understanding of accounting functions and reporting mechanisms.
