Our Toronto client is need of a Senior Oracle EBS Developer for permanent position. The candidate would preferably be based out of Toronto, Calgary, or Vancouver.
This is a remote position.Job SummaryAs an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle EBS applications.
You will work closely with our IT and business teams to ensure that our EBS systems meet the evolving needs of the organization.
This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle EBS modules, strong technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Development : Develop and customize Oracle EBS modules, particularly in areas such as Financials, Supply Chain, and HRMS.
Create and modify Oracle PL / SQL stored procedures, functions, and packages.Develop Oracle Forms, Reports, and Interfaces to integrate EBS with other applications.
System Integration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle EBS with external systems and data sources.
Utilize APIs and Web Services to facilitate seamless integration.Maintenance & Support : Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle EBS applications.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.Resolve user issues and optimize application performance.Testing & Documentation : Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures.Project Management : Participate in project planning, scoping, and execution for Oracle EBS-related initiatives.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage project expectations and deliverables.Required Skills and QualificationsTechnical Expertise : 5+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) development and customization.
Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS modules, particularly Financials, Supply Chain, and HRMS.Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL / SQL, and database design.
Experience with Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, and OAF (Oracle Application Framework).Familiarity with integration tools and technologies such as REST / SOAP APIs and XML.
Analytical & Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Communication & Collaboration : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment.Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Equivalent experience may be considered.Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud technologies and migrations to Oracle Cloud.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.Certification in Oracle E-Business Suite or related technologies.Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
