- Instruct students in the Hospitality Management Program, focusing on back-of-house preparation for the Wine and Dine evening production course.
- Plan and deliver instruction, evaluate student performance, and facilitate demonstrations and workshops.
- Participate in the development, maintenance, and revision of curriculum.
- Perform other instructional duties as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Must be available to work evenings, Monday to Friday, from April 30 to May 23, 2 : 00 PM – 10 : 00 PM.Daytime hours will apply for the remainder of the schedule. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
Grade 12 or equivalent.Inter-Provincial or Journeyperson (Red Seal) certificate in cooking.Working knowledge and ability to apply principles and practices of adult education.Ability to develop and supervise faculty and staff.Knowledge of budget development and monitoring.Effective communication skills (oral and written).Effective problem-solving skills.Effective team building and conflict management skills.Demonstrates valuing diversity.Desired QSA Required Competencies
