What You'll Be Doing :
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, warm inbound leads, and networking
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with regular check-ins and discovery meetings
- Create and execute strategic sales plans that hit KPIs and revenue targets
- Provide transparent weekly reporting on activities and pipeline status
- Research industry trends and emerging markets to stay competitive
- Represent Starship at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
- Craft persuasive proposals, quotes, and presentations to close deals
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction
- Train and mentor other team members as needed
- Ensure compliance with company onboarding processes and documentation
- Travel as required to support business growth
- Be available 24 / 7 as needed to support clients in urgent scenarios
- Take initiative and handle uncertainty with a proactive mindset
What We're Looking For :
? 3-5 years of experience selling over-the-road and intermodal transportation services? Deep knowledge of LTL & TL markets between the USA / Canada and within the Canadian domestic market? Background in sales, marketing, or a related field? Excellent verbal and written communication skills? Technologically fluent - especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint? CRM experience (Salesforce is a plus)? Strong organizational and multitasking abilities? Self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision? Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team? Must own a leased vehicle (car, SUV, or van, under 5 years old with no visible damage) for client visits and travel requirementsWhat We Offer :
