SUMMARY
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and as part of the Maintenance Team the incumbent will be responsible for the effective operation and maintenance of the facility with particular emphasis on: patching painting, planned maintenance, and removal of graffiti. The incumbent must be able to work in a high hazard, high security and Institutional setting.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Paints and decorators, patching sanding and applying paint coatings and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings :
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
· Interprovincial Standards, Painter Decorator, Red Seal Certification
· WHMIS
· TDG certification
· Interprovincial Standards, Painter Decorator, Blue Seal certification
· Current knowledge of building and safety codes for both exterior and interior work
· Good colour sense
