It is expected that the student will work approximately 17 to 21 hours per week for a 2 year period from Fall 2024 to Fall 2026.

Bursary of $27,000 / year will be divided into 3 equal installments each year.

Research and operation focusing on recovery and separation of components using separation technologies specifically electrodialysis and electrowinning.

Writing technical reports

Preparing technical presentations

Preparing journal publications

Water Management Section on CanmetMINING has expertise in process development for mine water treatment and recovery of valuable components from mining effluents from lab-scale to pilot-scale.

Currently enrolled or willing to enroll as a Master student in the area of Electrochemical Separation

Experience in laboratory research specifically in membrane separation systems.

Experience in electrochemical separation techniques.

Flexibility and ability to work in a team.

Judgement as required for the laboratory research
