Jardeg Construction is currently recruiting for a Journeyperson Insulator to join the Imperial Oil team on site in Cold Lake, Alberta on a 5 days on 2 days off shift with 8 hours a day schedule.
This is a local position for a Journeyperson Insulator that lives in the Bonnyville/Cold Lake area.
Imperial Oil Cold Lake has been in operation for 45 years and has close to 400 employees and over ~1000 contracted workers including workers from indigenous businesses. Covering 780 square kilometers (about 300 square miles), Cold Lake is one of the largest thermals in situ operations in the world and supplies our Strathcona Refinery and refineries across Canada and the United States, so they can create the fuel, asphalt and products that keep life running.
Insulators apply, remove and repair thermal and acoustical insulation (e.g., calcium silicate, glass foam, mineral wool, Styrofoam, fiberglass) on all types of industrial equipment (e.g., duct piping, heat exchangers, tanks, vessels).
With a significant presence in the construction, industrial maintenance, and turnaround sectors, Jardeg is the largest recruiter of skilled trades in Canada. Annually, we support approximately 10 million hours of work and provide recruitment services for 10,000+ people.
If you’re a tradesperson working in Canada, our position across commercial, infrastructure, and industrial construction, plus maintenance and turnarounds means we have more than just a job for you. We have a lifetime of work.
