We are looking for a detail-oriented, motivated individual to join our professional team as a Network Engineer at our Head Office located in Mississauga, ON (hybrid in-office / remote role).

What You’ll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Configure, monitor, and support Fortinet network hardware (firewalls, switches, routers) to ensure optimal performance and security
- Conduct regular network performance monitoring and analysis to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Use diagnostic tools to monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including configurations, policies, procedures, and best practices
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, policies, and security requirements
- Collaborate with third-party vendors for equipment procurement, updates, and incident management
- Work closely with the extended IT Helpdesk to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for software, hardware, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution of IT tickets
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in network engineering, specifically with Fortinet hardware
- Proficiency in VPN setup, configuration, and management
- Familiarity with network monitoring and security tools
- Experience with other network hardware brands and cloud environments is a plus
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and unsupervised, showing initiative, sound judgment, and a commitment to improving IT services and supporting end-user productivity
Bonus Qualifications :
- Certifications like Fortinet NSE, Microsoft Certified : Azure Network Engineer, Microsoft Intune, or CompTIA Network+
- Proficiency in SD-WAN technology, with experience in setup, configuration, and management
- Experience with other network hardware brands and cloud environments is a plus
