We are recruiting for a start date in April 2026. This position at the RBC Insurance Advice Center offers the best of both worlds : flexibility to meet your personal life needs and the job satisfaction you expect.
Description of the Position
As an authorized advisor in auto and home insurance, you will be the voice on the other end of the phone offering advice and options to help clients protect what matters most. You will provide clear and transparent insurance advice with empathy, helpfulness, and friendliness, maintaining a keen sense of curiosity, attention to detail, and commitment to solving problems and delivering an exceptional client experience. You will contribute to individual and team sales goals by proactively recommending auto and home coverage to new, existing, and prospective clients and by recommending solutions to internal partners.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and offer tailored insurance advice and solutions.
- Create a uniform and positive client experience, responding to questions at first contact and building relationships through constructive dialogue.
- Conduct personalized needs assessments and use available tools, resources, and calculators to demonstrate the value and reasonableness of your advice.
- Maintain a solid understanding of regulatory risk when preparing or modifying auto and home policies.
- Follow procedures effectively and transparently during client conversations.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with partners to work together as one RBC team.
Qualifications
Desire and ability to obtain the Quebec property‑and‑casualty representative certificate issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and the sale license for non‑life insurance products in Ontario and other provinces.Bilingualism (English and French) required to serve both Francophone and Anglophone clients.High level of reading, comprehension, and oral expression in both languages.Exceptional client‑service skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients.Willingness to work any shift during opening hours. The Care Center is open Monday‑Friday, 8 a.m.–8 : 30 p.m.Knowledge of a broad range of devices for delivering digital services (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).Desired Qualifications
Current possession of the AMF property‑and‑casualty representative certificate.Post‑secondary education.Knowledge of insurance products.Experience in customer service or sales in a contact center.Benefits
