Arrow Workforce Solutions is currently looking for Material Handler / Crane Opeartor to join the team located in Hamilton, ON .  We offer full-time hours with overtime available as per business needs and a friendly and safe work environment.

Shift available :

  • Morning Shift - 7 : 00 am- 3 : 30 pm

    • Pay Rate :  $25-$28 per hour

    Location : Hamilton, ON

    Responsibilities

  • Take care in completing fulfillment orders - including picking merchandise, packing products, and affixing shipping labels in accordance with regulations
  • Operating the  crane and counter balance forklift
  • Prepare for fulfillment orders by reorganizing inventory
  • Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures ,Good Manufacturing Practices and other safety procedures and guidelines
  • Communicate any problems with product, components, etc. to your Team Lead
  • Connect with team members in a positive manner
  • Adhere to shipping guidelines for multiple in-house brands
  • Complete regular daily inventory cycle counts and occasionally larger inventory counts
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
  • Read work orders or receive verbal instructions for work assignments
  • Read orders to ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise
  • Prepare requisition orders and submit to Purchasing
  • Transport filled orders to staging area or shipping department
  • Stock shelves and keep stock clean and in order
  • Complete daily production sheets or work tickets

    • Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in a similar position
  • 2 years experience in operating  crane and counter balance
  • 2+ years of experience working in a production and / or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to at least 25 lbs. for 8-hour shifts
  • Minimum Education of a High School Diploma is required
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office programs
  • Knowledge of Purchasing and Receiving Documents and processes
  • Familiar with computer-based receiving
