Summary Of The Job
The H2R Application Development Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of technical solutions in order to meet the business requirements for the Hire to Retire (H2R) process stream. The Specialist is responsible for the estimation of the level of effort (BEE - Base Effort Estimate), converting business requirements into functional and / or technical design specifications, system configuration, implementation and testing in accordance with the Americas Digital Services Change Management Process. Additional responsibilities include creation of required documentation, post Go-Live support and knowledge transfer to support the handover of the daily operations of the implemented solutions to other team members of the Application Management team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Application Development Life Cycle and Operational Support
Design and implementation of technical solutions based on business requirements received for major enhancements and projects approved by the respective Business Process Owners and the ECRB (Enterprise Change Review Board)
Responsible for estimating level of effort, converting business requirements into technical / functional design specifications and application development related to H2R systems.
Work closely with the Design Team to ensure the technical solution is aligned with the proposed design and architectural principles
Configuration, development and implementation of the solution based on the technical / functional design specifications
Document test cases and execute unit and integration testing of the build code / configuration
Support Business / Key Users in the User Acceptance Testing where required
Documentation and handover of the implemented solution to other Team members of the Application Management / Support Team
Work closely with Delivery Managers as subject matter experts to ensure all Changes are delivered on time, within budget and of the expected quality. Raise relevant concerns at the appropriate time with a view to ensuring delivery of the Changes with the appropriate solution.
Developing system application using various SAP Technologies
Staying updated with US and Canadian SAP and BSI notes and working closely with the BPSO team to keep the system up to date
Prioritize assigned incidents, by troubleshooting and solving issues effectively and efficiently, with strong analytical and research skills.
Assist in review, testing and implementation of HCM support package upgrade and all other system upgrades required.
Apply HR ABAP programming techniques, excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
Profile Required
Level of education / qualifications required :
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
SAP HCM Certification desired.
Successfactor Employee Central.
Successfactor Payroll control center.
Experience with Successfactor add - on SAP ECC. LEV
Specific work experience :
At least 10 years of working experience in SAP Human Resources.
At least 10 years solid experience with SAP ECC HCM : US and Canadian Payroll
Experienced in a multi-employer, multi-state / province, multi-union, multi-pay frequency environment with over 20K employee population
For US - BIS-SAP integration, State Income Tax Reciprocity Rules, SUI, 401 K Plans, W2, W4, US Health & Insurance Plans.
For Canada – T4 & RL Forms, Online filing, WSIB, Online ROE 2.0, etc.
Extensive Union Payment related configuration experience, Garnishments, Benefits integration with external service providers for both Inbound & Outbound, and TP Vendor payments for both US & Canada.
Sound knowledge of Rules and Schemas with ability to write new Rules and Schemas

Success Factor : Employee Central, Payroll control center, add - on.
Experience in SAP - Time management-CATS (Cross Application Time Sheet) and ESS / MSS. Integration with UKG Workforce Management, and COMMAND. Holiday Calendars, Work schedules, Quotas and Positive and Negative Time Management. Time Types, Overtime and Time Wage Type configuration experience is a must.
ABAP Fundamentals
Agile methodologies fundamentals.
S / HANA configuration is a plus.
