Procurement Specialist

Aston Carter's large client in oil & gas is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team!

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and source goods and services to support strategic plans in manufacturing, field operations, technology, or project management.
• Comply with and execute Category Management strategies according to established policies and procedures.
• Issue purchase orders in response to material requirements from manufacturing, field operations, or projects.
• Implement agreements for local procurement of goods and services not covered under Category Management.
• Create requests for quotations (RFQ) and organize competitive bidding from various suppliers.
• Assess supplier performance to ensure optimal quality, delivery, and pricing.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure alignment of procurement activities.
