We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to join our team. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our supply chain operations, including planning, organizing, and controlling the movement of goods and materials. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage and coordinate the transportation of goods, including negotiating contracts and rates with carriers
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure timely replenishment of stock
- Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping / receiving
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce lead times
- Lead and develop a team of logistics coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure a seamless supply chain process
- Identify and resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain, taking proactive measures to prevent future problems
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a distribution or warehouse environmentStrong knowledge of transportation regulations, inventory management, and warehouse operationsExcellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional departmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisionsProficient in Microsoft Office and logistics softwareWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
