Source Office Furniture is seeking a Sales Assistant at our Kelowna location. This is a full-time position.
As the Sales Assistant you are responsible for providing administrative support to the sales representatives by managing and processing sales orders creating and modifying quotes and directly assisting customers by phone email of store administrative tasks may also be required.

Main Responsibilities :
Complete sales orders in a timely manner including communicating all relevant information (product availability freight etc.) to the sales representative and / or customer as required.Generate quotes and forward to appropriate sales representativeContact suppliers regarding availability of stock and pricing; relay lead times and discount structuresMonitor and schedule backorders including install if requiredSchedule delivery and install in conjunction with Delivery CoordinatorProvide back-up to sales representatives in troubleshooting and communicating with customers when issues ariseCoordinate post-sales activities with customers to ensure job completion and satisfactionAssist sales representative in checking stock levels and product availability and promptly communicate the information to them while out in the fieldEngage and assist customers who need information on the phone or via emailProcess Supply Chain Transfer (SCT)Manage point of sale processes including receiving and processing paymentsMaintain product library of brochures laminate fabric samples as well as promotional materials that may be required for presentations by sales reps.Qualifications :
High school diploma is a minimum; post secondary education; i.e. business diploma or certificate is an asset1 year of office administration / coordination; preferably in a support role with tight deadlines and high pressure; being in a sales environment is an advantageSuperior customer service skillsHighly organized and able to manage time efficientlyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAble to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to handle high pressure and multiple deadlinesExperience with business systems MS Office skills (Word Excel Outlook)Shift Schedule : Monday to Friday 9 : 00am to 5 : 30pm.
