Operating commercial vehicles in full compliance with all federal, provincial, and municipal laws and internal company policies.Completing thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.Safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading diverse cargo to prevent damage and ensure efficiency.Ensuring all critical documentation, including delivery receipts, bills of lading, and electronic logbooks, are completed accurately.Reporting any accidents, delays, vehicle defects, or incidents immediately to dispatch or management.Adhering strictly to designated routes, schedules, and client-specific delivery protocols for the manufacturing and logistics sector.Maintaining the cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned vehicles to represent the brand professionally.Cooperating effectively with warehouse and administrative personnel to ensure seamless manufacturing and logistics operations.Utilizing GPS and modern electronic logging devices (ELD) to track progress and maintain compliance.Providing exceptional customer service during the delivery and handling of large appliances and goodsQualifications
Valid Class 1 British Columbia Driver’s License with a clean commercial driver's abstract.Minimum 1 year of professional commercial driving experience within the manufacturing and logistics industry preferred.Physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly for loading and unloading tasks.Demonstrated punctuality and a strong work ethic to meet demanding delivery schedules.Experience in the delivery and handling of large appliances (fridges, stoves, washers) is a significant asset.Familiarity with appliance hookup or installation is preferred (training can be provided).Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug / alcohol screening as required.Summary
