Accenture Technology Center is an exciting and growing team to be part of! We have highly developed project management skills that fit in to nearly all types of client projects, from Business Process Outsourcing to new Application Development. WORK YOU'LL DO

The Scrum Master role serves as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments, and communicates with other management, developers, product managers, and technical support specialists. The Scrum Master role will generally encompass the following :

  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings.
  • Track and communicate team velocity and sprint / release progress.
  • Enable the development teams in practicing the Agile principles.
  • Assist as needed with backlog maintenance.
  • Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
  • Assist with prioritization and resolution of defects / bugs.
  • Responsible for communication on Product status, milestones and timelines to leadership & stakeholders.
  • Facilitate all Scrum Ceremonies (Refinement, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective, Demo etc.)
  • Work with team resources to ensure appropriate assignments of backlog items to sprints.
  • Perform and manage capacity planning.
  • Identify impediments and engage internal and external teams to resolve them.
  • Participate in Product sync to collaborate with other product teams and share progress, risks and off-track items.
  • Raise the issues, impediments to leadership for support in partnership with Technical Product Manager.
  • Ensure that user stories are closed on time, in support of Technical Product Owners.
  • Manage product deployment schedules, release planning.
  • Create and Manage implementation plans, Change Requests
  • Set up and facilitate retrospectives, sprint reviews or sprint planning sessions.
  • Remove obstacles and impediments that are blocking the team's progress and delivery.
  • Encourage collaboration between the Scrum team and Product Owner Agile Leadership Coach

Basic Qualifications :

  • University Degree
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Understanding and appreciation of Agile mindset, values and principles
  • 3+ years of experience as scrum master while facilitating teams in complex environments.
  • Experience in facilitating scaled agile delivery using frameworks like SAFe® or others
  • Experience with Agile delivery management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Planview etc.
  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

    Preferred Qualifications :

  • Agile certifications like SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe PO / PM, CSM etc.
  • Professional Requirements :

  • Strong organizational skills to plan, organize and schedule resources.
  • Experience with technical concepts and working with technical staff as needed.
  • Experience in User Story writing, Acceptance Criteria.
  • Product Release management.
