Hughes Safety Showers is a world leader in the manufacturing of emergency safety showers, eye / face wash and decontamination equipment designed to operate across all industries regardless of location, climate or local hazards.

Job Responsibilities

• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and excellent attendance.
• Must be able to use hand tools required to perform the job but not limited to : electrical components and wiring to build sub-assemblies for safety showers.
• Must be able to assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring or assembly casings.
• Must be able to pull and terminate wire and test electrical units.
• Must have a great attitude and willing to grow with the company.
• Must always diligently follow safe practices for yourself and team members.
• Must be able to work in a flexible team environment with job rotation as needed.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Have ability to review work activities with supervisor and audit work orders / material pick lists.
• Inspect wiring installations, assemblies and circuits.
• Ability to fabricate or modify parts, using shop equipment (cut and thread pipe).
• Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint / drawing specifications.
• Willingness to cross train for other job functions such as testing, quality review and packing / crating product.
• Tig / Mig welding experience considered an asset.
