Our organization, located in Thornhill, Ontario, is actively seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our service industry team. This role presents a contract to permanent employment opportunity. In the role of a Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include managing customer applications, maintaining records, and addressing inquiries. You will also be responsible for overseeing customer accounts and taking necessary actions.Responsibilities : - Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.- Keeping customer credit records up-to-date and accurate.- Efficiently handling customer inquiries and concerns.- Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action as necessary.- Preparation and dispatching of forms and correspondence related to claim files, including letters to members, third-party reports, and consent forms for police report requests.- Processing payments on claim files, such as appraisal fees, glass claim invoices, and police report fees.- Assisting the Total Loss team by preparing and sending Proof of Loss documents to facilitate claim settlements.- Requesting official reports for claims investigation, like police reports and fire incident reports.- Forwarding PD Claim files to legal representatives upon request.- Sorting and distributing incoming correspondence appropriately.- Making outbound calls to members to obtain the First Notice of Loss on New Claims reported after-hours or online.- Efficiently routing incoming calls to the appropriate department, based on business demands.- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role.- Demonstrable skills in providing exceptional customer service.- Proficiency in using customer service software and tools.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints effectively.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on feet.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.- High school diploma or equivalent qualification; higher degree preferred.- Proficiency in Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.- Willingness to work in shifts and during weekends.- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.- Ability to maintain a positive, empathetic, and detail oriented attitude towards customers at all times.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
