Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the different phases of the Activate model (research, discover, prepare-explore, carry out and deploy);
Propose orientations and strategies for the evolution of the client's processes and services according to its strategic plan and new technological trends (in conjunction with functional processes)
Evaluate the technologies available for each component of the SAP solution, as well as the opportunities they offer, taking into account a set of criteria (relevance, integration, security, etc.);Develop technical architecture guidelines related to technological choices and positioning for their use;See to the design and implementation of the technical architecture (division of modules, relationships between the functional and the data model
Provide technical advice on specific topics related to SAP elements and to ensure their cohabitation and integration into the client's ecosystem;Organize and carry out proofs of technology and proofs of concept to allow the client to position its solutions well;Participate in the definition of business needs and contribute to the clarification and identification of operational needs with regard to the solution;Analyze existing workflows to understand the interactions between different processes and parts of the integrated solution;Monitor the technical integration of the solutions to be implemented, including the integration between the various SAP modules;Participate in performance improvement initiatives and make recommendations on the interventions required by the various stakeholders to meet production performance needs;Break down requirements into different functions and identify gaps between business requirements specifications and component capabilities
Document and maintain solution architecture orientations by defining software components, hardware, data flows, interfaces, and interactions with elements of the business and technology environment
Participate in proofs of concept to confirm choices related to the proposed solution;Ensure compliance with the methodological standards in place, present orientations, propose solutions and support the teams so that the work remains in compliance with the standards and rules defined and ensure that the established requirements are maintained;Establish and evolve the orientations regarding the use of the components and data of the solution;Establish elements of business solutions that can be optimized and consolidated, interoperability and reused;Ensure the integrity of the solution (processes and components, master data, enterprise architecture) and promote its optimal use;Ensure that privacy, security and data control are always considered in the development of solutions;Write and support the various testing strategies, including unit, functional, integrated and acceptance tests;Identify activities related to the deployment strategy and the detailed plan for the transition to production;Promote the use of standard SAP functionalities to the maximum
Promote the use of best practices delivered by the software solution publisher and evolve the specific practices already established concerning the design and use of the solution (integration patterns).

Requirements 12 years of experience in information technology; 8 years of experience as an SAP Solution Architect Over the past eight (8) years, have completed a minimum of five (5) relevant mandates, aimed at integrating several solutions into a complex and innovative application In the last eight (8) years, have completed a minimum of three (3) relevant mandates, requiring the adaptation of native SAP functionalities to the context of the organization's business domain.
Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
