Warehouse coordinator

• Salary up to $22,64 per hour
• Evening shift schedule from 4:00 pm to 00:15 am
• Evening premium of $1,00 per hour

Pelican International is looking for a Warehouse coordinator to join its Salaberry-de-Valleyfield team. We need you to ensure the satisfaction of our many customers. Kayaking has never been as popular as it is today!

A TYPICAL DAY AS A WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT IS:

• Receive goods received and register them in the ERP system SAGE;
• Performs a meticulous control (quantity and quality) of all incoming and outgoing goods in the warehouse;
• Locate the location of an item in SAGE using its code;
• Retrieve and fill empty bins from floor kanbans;
• Complete the container handling record;
• Distribute the parts and packages received within the required time;
• Identify carts and/or pallets to be made for each WO to be made and print picklist of carts;
• Plan floor space and aisle space for material receipts;
• Identify and print the warehouse picklist (cart) and the identification sheets relevant to the WO in SAGE;
• Perform the restocking of parts returned by production to the system;
• Produce and print serial numbers (ZEP);
• Control the preparation of components for subcontractors;
• Produce the delivery note (SH) in SAGE;
• Produce shipping documents;
• Train employees on inventory placement;
• Assign work to other employees;
• Establish and optimize the storage plan of the material in the warehouse.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

You have a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in a similar position and you have a good level of French and mathematics in order to complete various reports. You master the rules and concepts of inventory management and you must be able to use computer tools with ease, such as scanning, the Microsoft Office suite and the integrated management system (Sage or other). You have proven experience in operating a forklift and respecting the rules of safe operation as you possess a valid competency card.
