Job Description :
Our client, a food manufacturer located in Toronto, is looking to add an Accountant to their team!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :
- Full-cycle Accounts Payable
- Preparation of Month-end interim financial statements
- Month-end close with all required journal entries with related account reconciliations / analyses.
- Overview of A / R status
- Coordination of communication with accounting reps of key suppliers / customers
- Charge-backs of customer deductions / shipping variances
- Monthly reporting to company bankers
- Inventory monitoring in coordination with supply chain group
- Additional duties as assigned
