Endpoint Security Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced

Endpoint Security Engineer

to support device onboarding and security configuration across the Microsoft ecosystem. This role focuses on strengthening endpoint protection, integrating client devices into the Microsoft cloud environment, and ensuring proper security and compliance controls.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and manage

Windows Defender for Endpoint

for client devices.

Onboard devices into the clients Microsoft environment using

Intune .

Apply, manage, and troubleshoot

Purview

security and compliance policies.

Ensure endpoints meet client’s security and compliance baselines.

Support the secure deployment and integration of new or existing Windows devices.

Collaborate with clients security and infrastructure teams as required.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands‑on experience with

Windows Defender for Endpoint

(WDFE).

Strong experience with

Intune

for device enrollment / onboarding and configuration.

Working experience with

Microsoft Purview

(DLP, compliance, policies, labels, etc.).

Background in Windows endpoint security, device hardening, or security operations.

Ability to troubleshoot device onboarding and security configuration issues.

Nice to Have

Experience with enterprise Windows environments

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security and compliance tools
