We are offering a key position for an exceptionally customer-centric individual! As front line customer service in our retail stores :

• Listens actively to customers to advise them on products, prices and availability in order to satisfy their needs. Answers technical questions.
• Receives and processes customer orders (phone, email in, fax, etc)
• Prepares quotations and standard tender requests.
• Provides support to the local account executives for back-office activities.
• Performs phone “cold-calls” for network customers and “blitz” in some market segments
• Does post-sales follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
• Organizes the display of products in the store
• Identifies and respects our commitment to our customers and ensures that deliveries are made in time.
• Process and confirm delivery slips.
• Communicates with the logistics team to ensure cylinder replenishing.
• Use your welding knowledge and experience to deliver products to our customers, and help them find the right supplies for their projects and business needs Learn new computer systems, enabling you to give accurate information, pricing and quotes for our customers.
• Learn how to track orders / cylinders and expand your knowledge in logistics
• Plan routes for delivery and follow ALC's safety policies diligently
• Work in a clean and organized environment by maintaining our product displays Get to know our customer base both on the front line and making deliveries, learn about our products and mentor from our Outside Sales Team and Managers to grow your advancement opportunities!## \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_##
• Competencies and Profile
• 1 year in a retail / industrial sales environment
• Knowledge of welding processes and products is an asset but not mandatory
• Good knowledge of computer systems and google suite
• Secondary diploma
• A positive attitude and customer service focus
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and roll cylinders when needed.
• Promoting and Achieving Safety
• Teamwork
• Forklift Experience
• DZ License, not mandatory - AssetPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to roll cylinders as necessary. Lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
