AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou / or $50.25 (2024-2025)
The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Nature of Work :
Proctoring exams. Teach a lab section and / or a DGD section. Prepare for teaching, discuss with the lecturer. Maintain all homework marks on the Web. Be available to the students (email, appointments). Correct assignments.
Minimum Requirements :
Preference will be given to candidates who have completed this course or its equivalent and its prerequisite(s) with a mark of A or better. Attend a TA workshop if necessary. Must be ready for an interview if considered for this position. If the responsibilities include DGD and / or TUT and / or LAB supervision or teaching, the applicant must be available for all of these. Programming experience with the core Java language, OO programming in Java, the Java class library. Deep understanding of data structures and analysis of algorithms should be demonstrated as a prerequisite for hiring. Candidates should specify in the application their grades on relevant courses such as an equivalent course to this one and an advanced course on design and analysis of algorithms. Good teaching skills and patience to work with 2nd year students.
