Data Entry Clerk

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Ottawa, Ontario. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining and organizing financial records, processing invoices, and managing customer accounts.

Responsibilities :

• Efficiently process customer credit applications and maintain accurate records
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate record-keeping
• Verify expenses using Mastercard and input receipt data into Excel
• Utilize Excel for various calculations and formula applications
• Merge expenses using Excel for streamlined record-keeping
• Leverage knowledge of Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP in daily tasks
• Assist with billing and invoice processing tasks
• Manage data entry tasks with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation procedures and processes.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Demonstrated experience in Billing and Invoice Processing.
• Excellent skills in Data Entry with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for financial data management and reporting.
• Experience with Oracle financial software is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP software for financial management and operations is advantageous.
