Job description

Voyago is hiring a Lead Hand for our Transit Operations in Windsor, ON.

Your Role

  • Maintain paperwork and timesheets / vacations are required
  • Perform daily circle checks on spare vehicles and are prepared to switch off broken down vehicles or complete a run-on last-minute notice
  • Immediately report and document all injuries, collisions or property damage that occurs
  • Perform safety blitzes or road observations on drivers at the direction of the Operations Supervisor
  • Immediate point of contact for resolutions of issues affecting daily operations or escalate to Supervisor level if needed
  • Assist with issues involving IT equipment such as tablets and smart card readers
  • Available to assist with other duties as outlined by Transit Supervisor

Requirements

Your Profile

  • You possess an F / B / C class license. Applicants with a G,D,A license will be considered but must be able to upgrade to an F class license immediately.
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You possess basic computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • You possess a valid G class driver's license
  • You possess a clean drivers abstract
  • You possess a clean criminal record search
  • You have excellent customer service experience
  • You are highly organized with strong communications skills
