Diagnostic Radiology

Overview

The Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) Department of Medical Imaging in Nanaimo is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to work full time or part time in Nanaimo. The group of 10 Radiologists covers Nanaimo Regional Hospital, West Coast General Hospital, Tofino General Hospital and Oceanside Urgent Care, along with a private imaging office.

Responsibilities

• Engage in all facets of Medical Imaging; comfortable with minor interventional procedures.

Qualifications and eligibility

• Eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
• Preference for subspecialty training or significant clinical experience; experience with breast imaging (including screening) is an asset.

The group covers the following sites: Nanaimo Regional Hospital, West Coast General Hospital, Tofino General Hospital and Oceanside Urgent Care, along with a private imaging office.
