CAD43.27 hourlyJob descriptionManagement of turnkey projects as assigned Responsible for all aspects of an automation controls project from initial planning, design and development, implementation, testing, commissioning to documentation Work effectively with other team members, vendors and subcontractors Work with clients to define and develop project scope of work and maintain ongoing communication Meet project objectives in a timely manner Ability to attend field service and emergency calls A four year degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent Previous experience with CNC, PLC, Visual Basic, and the ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings are assets Previous experience with Siemens applications is an asset Project management experience is an asset Excellent English : Both oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and mathematical skills
The successful candidate(s) will have the opportunity to conceive, design and implement a variety of complex automation projects including the programming of :
- PLCs,
- HMI,
- motion controllers,
- computer numeric controllers (CNC),
- robotic systems.
The successful candidate(s) will support CSIC activities in the acquisition of new customers and maintain a positive relationship with existing customers. The candidate must observe all safety rules and guide / train junior systems specialists. Travel within the US may be required.
