Pay Range : $208,000.00-$260,000.00

Position Summary

The Ambulatory Physician will provide direct clinical care at MMG primary care sites. This provider will be expected to rotate to different sites on an as needed basis. This position is meant to provide primary care coverage at sites where a provider is on leave or has left the practice and the position has not been filled by a permanent replacement.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care coverage as directed by Regional Medical Director at specified MMG locations (typical schedule includes 2 locations per week).
• Direct clinical care for patients as a primary care physician, including assessment, evaluation and management.
• Manage patients as an attending primary care physician.
• Participate in site’s clinical QI / PI activities during days / hours at the site.
• Maintain clinical hours as posted for primary care physicians at MMG.
• Provide call coverage assigned to coverage pool.
• Perform administrative responsibilities including Epic basket coverage for forms, phone calls, results, MyChart messages, staff messages, and cc’d charts.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education and Experience : Graduate of an accredited US residency program in a primary care specialty; Current valid NYS license; BLS certification.

Requirements : NYS Medical License Board Eligible / Board Certification; Completion of US Accredited IM or FM Residency Program.
